Narcissus

The narcissus is in the Amaryllidaceae family.

We sell a number of varieties of narcissus.

Narcissus 'Bridal Crown' is a white double narcissus which does have a scent. This narcissus is available in January and February.

Narcissus 'Topolino' is white with a yellow corona. This is also an early-blossoming variety and it is available in December and January.

Narcissus 'Minnow' is cream-coloured. This is a late blooming variety and it is available from February to April.

Narcissus 'Tête-à-tête' is the most common variety of narcissus. It is yellow and has several blossoms per stalk. This variety has the prettiest and most flowers in March and April, and it is available starting in mid-January.

Narcissi grow to about 25-30 cm high.

They last longest when you put them in a light, cool spot, and does best outdoors. They can survive a light frost without any problems. You can keep your narcissus in its pot or you can plant several of them together in a large pot or in the garden.

Narcissi can be combined with nearly every other type of bulbous plants and with a great many non-bulbous plants. Narcissi are perennial.
