The hyacinth is in the Asparagaceae family and is native to the eastern part of the Mediterranean region.
They can be found in various colours. In December we have them available in white and from January to April in rose pink.
The plants grow to about 25-30 cm tall.
Hyacinths deal well with both indoor warmth and outdoor cold weather. Hyacinths last longest when you put them in a light, cool spot, Put the plants in a sheltered spot in case of frost.
You can keep Hyacinths in their pots or you can plant several of them together in a large pot or in the garden. It can be beautifully combined with other bulbous plants, such as Muscari or crocuses.
